How to compare crypto trading costs

Compare maker and taker fees, spread, funding and additional cashback without confusing estimates with realized savings.

Start with the same trade

Compare the same market, order size, account tier and execution type. Maker orders add liquidity when they rest on the book; taker orders remove liquidity. An order can execute partly as maker and partly as taker.

Estimated trading fee = executed notional × applicable fee rate. Turnover is not account balance. Opening and closing a position may each incur fees, so include both executions in your volume.

Fees are only one cost

Spreads and slippage depend on liquidity and execution. Futures funding is separate from trading fees and can change over time. Network withdrawals and conversion costs can also affect the final amount received.

The FeeBack calculator does not predict funding, spreads, liquidation losses or tax. It estimates additional cashback from commissionable trading fees and dated offer terms; actual receipts can differ.

Use dated evidence

Check the exchange’s current fee schedule and your account’s tier, discounts and product eligibility. Admin-approved fee rows include a verification date and source link. Missing rates are left unavailable rather than filled with a typical industry value.

For the cleanest comparison, enter actual trading fees. If you estimate from volume, use the appropriate maker or taker rate and treat any unverified exchange rebate as unknown, not guaranteed zero.
